The debut album “The Lights Of Home” by Rupert Blackman is complete and it’s light will shine on March 8!
Previously, you could get acquainted with the Blackman EP "Day and Night" and his performance at DWDD: http://goo.gl/V5a0Q. But there’s a big chance you've seen Rupert play on the street, and was pursuaded by his unique sound and his enthusiastic performance.
Together with his Utrecht-based band and producer Martijn Groeneveld (Blaudzun, a balladeer, Solo, Lucky Fonz III and Mathilde Santing) Rupert delivers a debut album with which you can hear twelve distinct types of song. He talks mostly about people and places, both positive and negative, which have had an impact in his life so far. These circumstances and events are relatable for his listeners and allows them to reflect of their own lives 'ups and downs'.
